Spring with a Touch of Snow

A sky, blue with streaks of fading white
The wind is comfortable, cool and mild
Though teasingly it swells then stills
Allowing warmth to seep into the earth
Squirrels seek through lush green
While the melody of birds flutters above
Flowers dab colors of yellow and cranberry
Though snow still hides in shadows
And in the pockets of thick, green bushes
